Today you made a decision to change something about yourself or your life that is causing you or your loved ones pain and heartache, and that takes a great deal of courage. It can be so exhausting just to stay where you are, maintain, and survive, much less face all the things that seem like giants in your life. But you took a brave step to finally reach out for help and that's really something. We are ready to join you wherever you are in your journey, help you bravely face those giants, and help you find your way to wherever you want to be. Thanks for trusting us to be part of your journey... we are honored.
We are only offering virtual appointments at this time. In-person services may be offered later if we add a clinician to our team who is interested in providing in-person services. However, virtual services allow us to pay our clinicians better rates (which means lower caseloads and better quality of care for our clients) and give our clinicians the freedom to work from home, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

The middle school and high school years can be some of the most exciting challenging of a young person's life. Navigating friendships, identity, academic pressure, and a constantly changing world is a lot to handle. We provide a space where young people feel heard, understood, and never judged. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or just needs someone to talk to, we're here to help them build the resilience and tools they need to thrive.
We understand the challenges of parenting teens and tweens and are open to offering support to parents as needed, as part of your child's treatment plan. This may include individual sessions with parents, resources, or referrals. We do not provide family therapy, but some resources for family therapy are available here.

Announcement from the owner of Courageous Counseling PLLC:
Hello, it's me, Danielle, the founder of this company. As of January 1, 2026, I have decided to discontinue operation as a group practice and move forward as a solo practice in order to leverage my time and energy optimally so I can embark on new projects in the field of mental health. I am still providing therapy as a solo practitioner and will continue to do so. Leah and Renese have started their own solo practices, and I have provided their contact information in the "Staff" page in case any of their old clients need to reach them or new clients would like to book with them. They are both fabulous!
This website has a lot of "we" in it, as we were a we until now, and I have determined that it's not a good use of time or energy to hunt down every "we" and change them, so just know that the functional definition of "we" here is actually just me, myself, and I. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
